Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Booked surf lessons for my Son Ross’s 21st and his sister Gemma whilst we were at Pismo Beach on holiday from Scotland. They were part of a small group of 5 and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend this company.

My girlfriend and I had a semi-private swim lesson with Johnny over memorial day weekend and could not have had a better time. We both were able to catch some waves on our own by the end! The staff was incredibly friendly and even provided great recommendations for lunch after. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a really fun surf lesson with Sage this morning. She is a great instructor and I had a great time. Highly recommend the Sandbar Surf School at Pismo Beach! Would definitely choose it again! :-)
