Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Signed up with my daughter for 2 days. Turns out my daughter couldn't make it, and I ended up taking surf lessons for 2 days in a row. Entire body ached, but boy those people at Sandbar Surf are really so good and, not unimportantly, so very nice. Thank you Cat, especially! and Jonny for all our flexibility!

Reserved the day before and was able to get a spot. Instructors were super helpful and informatics and I was able to get up on my 2nd try.
