Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

We went for a 2 hour surflesson with the whole family (kids aging 7-13). It was awesome. Great crew and very nice touch to it all!

My husband and son throughly enjoyed there surf lesson with Jonny ! They had a 2 hour private lesson , Jonny was a good teacher and a generally nice guy too . Would recommend definitely.

I loved my three days in Pismo at sandbar surf school. They provide all the wetsuits and boards so it is very easy to arrange. The instructors are great - so knowledgable and keen to help you learn. Jonny is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away even if you are a bit nervous. I would recommend Sandbar to anyone wanting to learn how to surf - whatever age or ability - you won't regret it! Thanks to all of you for making my time such fun, especially Bucky the dog!
