Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

My 10 year old daughter is not a big risk-taker, but she loves the ocean. We encouraged her to try surfing and we signed her up for three days of Surf Camp. We had wonderful young women all three days working with her and Johnny taught me how to support her learning. Our girl blossomed. This was a great experience for building self-confidence, safety awareness in the ocean, and gain real skills. I fully endorse Sandbar!

Johnny was awesome. I Have 4 teens from 13-18, and the lessons got all 4 kids up on their feet surfing and having a great time. Making Memories for a lifetime! 🏄🏼‍♀️🏄🏽

GREAT SURF LESSON, Paul was very friendly and available to inform us ! We were at the meeting point 5 minutes before the meeting time and Paul was already here to welcome us. We spent a VERY NICE time with Clover who tought us how to surf and helped us during the full session. Perfect spot and Great people that we recommand, MERCI BEAUCOUP !!
