Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

If you are looking for the quintessential California Surf Experience this is it. Located in Pismo Beach, a historic California coastal community, Jonny and crew are surf passionate and California chill. My girls, age 7 and 11, enjoyed every minute of their 3 day surf camp. The surf was tough one day but with Angela to teach and guide them they stuck with it and found their perfect wave. Highly recommend with no hesitation . 🏄🏄🏾‍♀️USA

We had a great experience with Johnny and Marie Thanku guys!!! Great teaching and patience and kindness with our teens and nine year old they thoroughly enjoyed their time as the experience was so positive they would do it again! Thank you for making this vacation one of a kind and special for us!!!
