Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

17 year old son loved his lesson at Pismo Beach. His instructor, Cat, was terrific! Nicely organized, great encouragement, and a gorgeous beach. Highly recommend.

Instructors were excellent, took 3 of my kids and son came back saying he was ready to buy a board. Would come back. Arrive a little early to get signed in.

My 10 and 8 year old had the best time and learned much quicker than expected!! The instructions were great with them and made learning fun! We will be back to take lessons again! Highly recommend!
