Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

I had a 2 hour private lesson with Micah, whilst on holiday in the states and it was awesome! Was great fun it was my first time surfing so no prior experience and Micah got me standing on the board and loving it. Price is really decent for what your getting. If your not 100% sure and your on the fence, if you think it might be your type of thing I would advise going with Sandbar Surf school great fun and I can't wait to give Surfing another go.

We felt a bit spontaneous and ordered surf lessons late in the evening and were up and surfing the next morning! Super service, easy going folks, very good instructor and nice beach! You dont need more than 2 hours because your body will be exhausted! Complimentary water at the beach was a positive suprise :) Good price as well, 60$ for a 2 hour lesson including everything is super cheap!
