Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Jonny and his team could not have been more helpful, flexible nor friendly. Great value and excellent instruction. We signed up for five days and could see improvement every day. Snacks and equipment Al top rate. Would highly recommend, especially for beginners. Easy to find in the car park on Park Avenue by the beach every morning.

My son and I had a great time with Sandbar. We took a lesson together then my son did the three day camp. He is now addicted to surfing. We are going out for one last day before we leave, and I'm sure we'll be back soon. All the instructors were great, especially Christina.

I recently signed both my kids up for their group surfing lesson. The experience was great. The instructors were paitence, experienced and just simply wonderful! They even provided snacks for the kids... I highly recommend this surf school.
