Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

My friends and I came down to Pismo Beach for the Summer and took 3 surfing lessons. We caught on pretty quickly with our surf instructor Mica and had an amazing time. We will definitely be coming back sometime in the future!:)

What a great time! As part of our family vacation, eight kids, aged 7-16, took a group lesson at Sandbar Surf. Johnny and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very supportive. The staff to student ratio was such that each student had plenty of one-on-one time with an instructor. The smiles on the faces of even our reluctant surfers were a highlight of our time in Pismo Beach.
