Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Our 10 year old son had an amazing time during one week of surf camp with Sandbar Surf School! Everything he needed was provided and the gear was in great shape. The location was beautiful, easy to find, and the waves were perfect for learning to surf. The owner and instructors were all knowledgeable, professional, encouraging, and most importantly... fun!! They made sure all the participants had a positive and enjoyable experience. Our son learned so much during the week, progressing from beginner to surfing on his own. He couldn't wait to get to surf camp each day and didn't want to get out of the water at the end. Thanks Sandbar Surf School!!!

We did the three day camp and loved it. Alyssa rocks it. Ryan also gave us good tips for local climbing. The waves and weather have been perfect. Thank you sandbar

My son received a surf lesson this weekend from Sandbar Surf School and it was an awesome experience! He had a great time and cannot wait to go do it again, the owner and staff were friendly and very patient with all the new surfers.
