PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

McGinn's PistachioLand

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

The tour was very informative. Tara was a great tour guide. Everyone who worked at this establishment was so friendly. The store is huge and full of fun things. I would definately recommend this tour.

What a fun day!! The gift shop is super cute with all sorts of options. The wine (and wine tasting) was great. The tour guide, Jamie, was informative and hilarious! Highly recommend the stop.

Home of the World's biggest pistachio never fails to impress! This is a beautiful pistachio farm in a picturesque setting. The giant pistachio at the entrance is definitely an eye catcher as one pulls into the parking lot. There is always a crowd of folks waiting to take a photo with the giant pistachio in the front! We took the last farm tour of the day, around 4.30 PM and our guide James was excellent! His narration was witty and informative at once. He mentioned a lot of details about the history of the farm, how pistachio cultivation is practiced and where all pistachios are farmed in the United States. It was a very pleasant 20 minute tour! Post the tour, we stepped into the gift shop which had a range of items - different flavors of pistachios (they are in New Mexico, thus they have to have Red Chile and Green Chili flavored options as well!), hot sauces, pistachio brittles, cups, magnets...you name it. The gift shop has a variety of pistachio and New Mexico related gifts - a must visit after the farm tour!
