The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

This was our first stop during our family trip to travel across New Mexico and Arizona. We found the tour to be very interesting and learned a lot about how pistachios grow and are harvested. The tour is very inexpensive and we highly recommend you take the time to learn about the farm.

Katie was a very good guide. Very interesting how the pistachios are grafted and how they only take a gallon of water per day.
