The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

We come here every time we visit Alamogordo. Unfortunately due to Covid there was no samples. The gift shop is much larger than our last visit. You can buy all kids of southwestern goodies. They also sell baskets that I have sent for Christmas presents. We did the wine tasting and bought a bottle of pomegranate wine. They have a Koi pond and ice cream parlor. The tour was fun and very informative. I would not buy tickets on line, it half as much to buy them at the store. We arrived at 3, bought tickets for the 4:00 tour right away and then did our shopping and wine tasting. I think the tour was about 30 min definitely worth the $2 ticket. The giant pistachio is a unique photo op!

Thank you so much for visiting! Yes, there are a few things we have had to halt due to COVID; however, there are great photo ops, the tour, and many delicious pistachios, candies, and wines that we make on-site ourselves. The gift baskets we sell are also 15% through Christmas, so stock up online at PistachioLand.com. We look forward to seeing you again!

I visited here for the first time 2 years ago when I first moved to Alamogordo. I visited again today when my parents came into town and it was just as exciting as the first time. You truly can’t come here without taking a tour. It only cost about 6 bucks for 3 people, very worth it to support this local business. I always love hearing the story about how this farm came to be and how their pistachios are grown. Matt was our tour guide and he did awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable!
