What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

My wife and I booked this tour a few weeks before getting to Crystal River looking for something exciting to do. The Capt. and mate (husband and wife) were very funny and knowledgeable we saw a few manatees, but it was cold for Florida. The trip was supposed to last an hour but was only 45 min. No problem but, it just was a mediocre tour, not as exciting as I expected. Great for families with young children.

Captain Loopy & Mermaid Jessica were great! Very funny & also very informative. We saw lots of manatees!

It was a great time and very informative. Captain Mike was great. We will definitely do another outing with them next time we are in the area.
