What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

This river tour is a must for anyone visiting Crystal River. Captains John, Captain Lupe, and Jess were excellent guides. Captain John's narration of the tour was very informative and super entertaining. You'll learn tons about the wildlife and local history. The cost is very affordable and definitely worth the tour. First time I didn't feel I was caught in a tourist trap.

Enjoyable boat ride to observe nature, manatees, birds and residential areas. The Captains well versed in area and attentive to attractions we would be interested in watching. They constantly on the watch for nature’s activity to view. Dustin and John were great, experienced and attentive to the groups desire to observe manatees, with good historical discussions.

This was an interesting, budget friendly boat cruise. At about an hour long, it is perfect if you have younger children or grands. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. They interacted well with the passengers, and accepted questions with enthusiasm, (tho they probably get asked the same thing dozens of times each week).
