The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

My three sisters and I spent a week at Disney in January. Because daily Disney can kill a person, we elected to visit wintering manatees at 3 Sisters Springs in the wildlife preserve on January 30. We discovered their boat trip wasn't given on a day we visited, so a quick internet search led us to King's Bay. Really glad we found these guys. On a comfortable, quiet pontoon boat, we spent an hour in the company of Dustin and Memphis who showed us enough manatees to satisfy us all. They were very knowledgeable about the stunning birdlife, as well as the history of the area, including the effort to make Crystal River crystal again, really interesting. They even gave us a great recommendation for lunch, Seafood Seller, where we saw other tour members. We can highly recommend this tour with these two guys to learn more of the unique manatee and their environment. Thank you Dustin and Memphis!

We took the sunset tour and our captains were Mike and Mark, both excellent and very knowledgeable about the bay and manatees. The weather was cold and in the late afternoon, we saw probably 40-50 manatees in the bay. If it is cool and you decide to take the late afternoon tour, dress warmly. The late afternoon tour is only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. If you want to see the bay, manatees and learn about the ecology of Kings Bay, book with them.

Leaves from Plantation Resort. Saw a hundred manatees as it is a protected manatee bay with warm, fresh water. Much wildlife including birds, eagles, etc. Lasts about 1+ hours. Great family value at $15. Best part was humerous/knowledgable guides/captain (Dallas and his colleague) - they made the trip hilarious yet very knowledgable.
