What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Guide was excellent. Saw lot of manatees. Great affordable price. Boat well-run and careful about the manatees, kayakers, and swimmers.

Capt Mark was very informative and fun to listen to. We saw LOTS of manatees!! If you get to the plantation before check in, go on the cruise with him!

It was a cold day so we had many Manatees in the springs. You need to have polarized sun glasses to see them well and the web site should tell people that trick to get the most out of the tour. The captains did a great job with spotting Manatees and providing good information. I would recommend this tour and I'm not sure how much we would have seen if we just tried to view them from the land.
