What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

We took the hour long scenic tour and enjoyed seeing lots of manatee. Mike and Matt did a great job and even “Grandma” (who isn’t a big fan of being on boats) really liked it and said she would do it again!

Took the Kings Bay Scenic Cruise mostly to see the manatees - well-rewarded for the hour's experience. Also saw dolphins, eagles and osprey, egrets, pelicans, etc. A most comfortable way to see the manatees up close for two older adults and Capt. Ed and Dallas were great, making sure we spotted all the animals we could! We have seen manatees before, but this was fun as they swam around, under and close to the slow-moving boat. Sorry, no pictures, too busy watching the critters and laughing. It was very cool that day, so jackets on and hoods up!

Wonderful cruise by Captains Mark and Mike saw manatees and heard lots of information on the bay wildlife well worth the visit to The Adventure Center. Mark and Mick obviously have a passion for what they do and it shows as they regal the passengers with their stories of the bay and surrounding area
