What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

We must say that the Plantation Adventure Center, is great premier waterside with a full service marina & dive shop! Located on Crystal River/Kings Bay National Wildlife Refuge it's a good place to come in contact with wildlife & sea-life. On any tour you will have the best Captains, with experience & knowledge of the King's Bay National Wildlife surroundings. The Adventure Center of many exciting tours as follows - MANATEE TOUR, RAINBOW RIVER TOUR, SCENIC CRUISE, SUNSET CRUISE & PRIVATE MANATEE TOURS. Along with - FULL & HALF DAY FISHING CHARTERS & SCALLOPS CHARTERS. The Adventure Center, also have BOAT RENTALS-(KAYAKS, PADDLE BOARD & PONTOONS) just to mention a few. And for the Underwater Adventure you can rent Equipment-(SCUBA PACKAGE, AIR TANKS, MASK & SNORKEL just to mention a few and much more... And a HOTEL PACKAGE, If you are enjoying a stay at the Plantation on Crystal River!!! We took the Scenic Tour and we highly recommend, was just 1 hour around King's Bay-we really enjoyed this tour, saw a lot of Wildlife. We even talked about doing other interesting tours, so who knows you might be on a tour with us. Wow! We didn't even get out in the main river before Captain Dallas spotted manatees! And it just got better from there. Both he and Dan were knowledgeable about the homes and history along the river, as well as the clean up efforts and their effect. There were friendly and funny and gave us all a tour to remember.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Took friends visiting from SC on this cruise. Will return later in year when the manatees are more plentiful.
