What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Overall pretty good. Staff and captain excellent. Little confusing on where to check in at. Little more history on area would be ideal. Overall, me and my kids had a wonderful experience.

We had a visitor come and we wanted to take him on a Kings Bay boat ride, but unfortunately, the boat ride from the state park wasn't running yet, so we tried this outfit. We were delighted. The state park boat ride takes your further into Kings Bay, but we really enjoyed running around the upper part of the bay where we saw lots of manatees. The boat captains Dallas and Memphis did a wonderful job and were very friendly. This will be our go-to place next time we have visitors in the area!

My husband and I took the sunset cruise while in crystal river for our anniversary. It was amazing scenery and we couldn’t have asked for a better sunset. Captain Mark and Captain Memphis were amazing. Full of information and had great knowledge of the area.
