What To Expect

Plantation Adventure Center

The scenic cruise is our one-hour dry tour of beautiful Kings Bay. You will cruise through the beautiful bay looking for wildlife while the captain points out the highlights of the area. During the cruise there is always the chance of seeing manatees, but it can never be guaranteed. These are wild animals in their natural habitat that come and go as they desire. Our tour boats are fully covered to protect you from the sun and rain. Besides manatees there is always a chance of seeing dolphins, otters, turtles, a variety of birds and fish. Every tour is unique!

Of course the manatees were the highlight of the cruise, however, our captains Dallas and Mark came a close second. Not only were they very knowledgeable about the manatees and marine life, the stories and anecdotes about the area were informative, interesting and entertaining. We will be back!

Although it was just the start of migration season, we saw several manatees. Tour guide could have given us a little more factual info and less aimless patter. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

Expected more of a wildlife environment, seeing homes on the shore of the Crystal River in a wildlife preserve was a surprise, I wished I could have learned more about the history of the area.
