Exchange your voucher for your one day or two day pass and a current time schedule at our Gray Line / Pink Trolley Sightseeing ticket booth at 525 SW Naito Parkway (Stop 1). As no reservations are required or accepted on the trolley, only after you exchange your voucher for a pass at the ticket booth are you confirmed of a seat on the next departure that has seats available. If you are planning to join us prior to 1pm we would request that you exchange your voucher at Stop 1 to ensure you have a seat. With a voucher and assuming there is room on the trolley you may board at any stop but please exchange your voucher for a ticket when you get to Stop 1.

We enjoyed the tour in spite of the disorganized ticket sales booth. The website states that no reservation is needed. Don't believe it. The tours sell out and people are left waiting for the next departure, roughly an hour. Advance purchase tickets don't guarantee a departure time. Decent tour and a good way to see the city. Gray Line tours needs some serious improvement with sales organization.

Thank you for touring with us. On occasion we do sell out but instead of continuing to sell we limit sales at peak times to try to ensure that everyone has a seat. We have 7 to 12 departures a day in an attempt to meet our guest’s needs. We do not indicate that no reservations are needed. We do not take any reservations as it would be counter to the hop on hop off touring concept. There no hop on hop off tours in the US that we are aware of that take reservations. During peak season and popular departure times it is best to arrive a little early to ensure you have a seat.

I bought 5 vouchers through Expedia for a 2 day tour. Three of us went on Sunday and found it to be boring with very few opportunities to take pictures due to obstructions. I understand that type of problem but when we 3 and the other 2 went back to get their tickets at 11:10a on Monday the 2 that were showing their voucher and turning it in for tickets were told they couldn't get a ticket until 12 and would not be able to get on the trolley until 1 because its full. However, we 3 that already had a ticket could get on at noon. We asked for the ticket at the time we were standing there with the understanding we would walk to another trolley area to get on and were told no they won't do that. We 5 walked away never to ride the Pink Trolley again. By the way, we have gone to 8 other cities and 7 of them we did the Hop on/Hop off with no problems.

I am sorry that the hop-on hop-off tour did not meet your expections. The boring comment in not one that we have seen before. I am not sure where you were sitting on the trolley but 50% of the seats are in the open so an unobstructed shot should have been available even if you choose not to hop off. Since we do not take reservations on the trolley sometimes we have to limit sales due to demand and need to ask customer to wait until the next departure.
