Exchange your voucher for your one day or two day pass and a current time schedule at our Gray Line / Pink Trolley Sightseeing ticket booth at 525 SW Naito Parkway (Stop 1). As no reservations are required or accepted on the trolley, only after you exchange your voucher for a pass at the ticket booth are you confirmed of a seat on the next departure that has seats available. If you are planning to join us prior to 1pm we would request that you exchange your voucher at Stop 1 to ensure you have a seat. With a voucher and assuming there is room on the trolley you may board at any stop but please exchange your voucher for a ticket when you get to Stop 1.

Our very first day in Portland, we started with a two-hour Secrets of Portlandia walking tour (reviewed earlier) and this hop-on hop-off trolley tour in the afternoon. They were both great tours, and they complemented each other very well. We chose to do the 1 hour 25 minute loop on this tour in its entirety, rather than actually hopping on and off. Our driver/guide, Eric, was very knowledgeable and personal. The tour provided a great overview of the city and its history.

I have always liked the hop-on-hop-off buses in other major cities in the U.S. and in Europe, and I am pleased to report that Portland has one too. They are, by far, the easiest way to get an overview of a city with the added ability to get out and explore. The Pink Bus operator does a fine job of introducing one to the major attractions in Portland. I would give it 5 stars except it only comes around once an hour and they only give tours in English.

When we visit a new place, we frequently take a Hop On/Off Tour to acquaint ourselves with the city. This was one of the best ones because the guide was extremely professional and knowledgable. We began at Pioneer Square, where we bought our tickets and boarded the trolley that took us all over Portland and included 14 stops at the major attractions. We usually prefer staying on for the entire run to avoid wait times to board again, depending upon how much time we have in the city. Highly recommend this for first-time visitors. At $34 a ticket for adults, it's a bargain if you factor in the cost of parking at each stop.
