Overview

We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of one of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Coco Donuts, Blue Star Donuts, Nola Doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnuts and more.

Melissa was our tour guide and she was a blast to hang out with! We had a group of three and were the only ones signed up for the noon tour, so we ended up splitting three donuts between the three of us at every stop... we did our best to eat most of them, but ended up with a couple of pieces to take home at the end. We went to Coco, Pips (bonus - their truck happened to be on the way at the Portland Book Festival, and they gave us an extra box for free!), Blue Star, Nola, and Voodoo. Blue Star had a pretty long line and they don't allow tours to cut the line, so we just hung out for a while - no big deal. It was the perfect day for walking and stuffing ourselves with donuts. Highly recommend!
