We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of one of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Coco Donuts, Blue Star Donuts, Nola Doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnuts and more.

We enjoy slightly off-beat tours when traveling and the Underground Donut Tour Portland fit the bill. We met with Beau (Bo?) at Coco Donuts PSU where we sampled their yeast-raised donuts. The lavender frosting complimented the light and fluffy donut perfectly. Beau led us on a leisurely stroll through the South Park blocks, pointing out various places of interest and in no time, we were at Blue Star donuts. Really liked their Blueberry Bourbon Basil donuts. From there we wandered through the Pearl District to Nola Donuts. The beignets were excellent as were the chocolate ganache la'ssants. The last stop was Voodoo Donuts where we sampled the Oh Captain My Captain, the Bacon Maple Bar, and the Old Dirty Bastard. Despite all the hype, their donuts were our least favorite. Too much stuff overpowered the taste of the donut. The tour took less than two hours and covered just under two miles. The pace was easy and the ground level, an easy walk for most anyone. This tour was well worth it and is highly recommended.

I had an amazing tour in Portland. Great experience, a must do if visiting. No wait in any of the lines, great walking tour with great information. Perfect way to walk through the city and get the best doughnuts in town!
