Overview

We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of one of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Coco Donuts, Blue Star Donuts, Nola Doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnuts and more.

This is a two hour tour during which you get to sample curated doughnuts from around Portland. The guides are informative, friendly and inclusive. It was a lot of fun and a surprisingly helpful way to see much of the central city area. As someone with a mobility impairment, I can say this is do-able with several places to sit along the 2 mile walk. The sidewalks are mixed concrete, stone and brick and frequently uneven. Excellent curb cuts throughout. The doughnuts were all excellent and handled within appropriate food safety guidelines. I would say this probably isn’t for those with food allergies, gluten issues or food sensitivities….they try hard to accommodate but the tour doesn’t seem to be as fun for those with restricted diets. Go hungry and you’ll be rewarded.
