Overview

We've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did we realize just how many others do too. And when looking around, we didn't see anything that truly celebrated donuts in all their glory, hence the Underground Donut Tour was born. This tour is for anyone who truly enjoys donuts. At each location, you'll be able to try a curated sample of one of that location's best donuts. Many locations offer vegan, gluten or nut free options, however, please make sure to let us know ahead of the tour, so we can make sure to highlight those specifically for you. Our tours include such favorites as Coco Donuts, Blue Star Donuts, Nola Doughnuts, Voodoo Doughnuts and more.

As soon as I saw "Donut Tour" I knew I needed to take it. I'm not a morning person, but waking up bright an early for gourmet pastries and coffee with a tour of Portland had me up at 7am to make it to the event. We started at Sesame donuts where we tried a variety of flavors, rose being my favorite, before continuing onto 3 more equally amazing shops. Our guide happily walked us to each shop while telling us about all of his favorite spots in each district. Because the tour guide also does pizza and ice cream tours he was able to give us plenty of recommendations for what to eat on our trip. We ended our trip two wonderful hours later at Voodoo Doughnuts where we had Oreo peanut butter and crispy bacon topped donuts to end the event. We were also given buttons and a cute donut sticker to remember the adventure. The guide also let us take a photo with him before our departure. It was a bright and early morning (there are later tours) but extremely mouthwatering and filling. Worth every step, every penny and ever minute.

If you love donuts and want to experience downtown Portland this is an excellent tour. 4 different donut shops and 3-4 tastes of their specialty donuts. The tour guide adds in great insight to parts of downtown as you walk from shop to shop.

Had a great tour. Our guide was great and bubbly! Only downside is walking the 30 mins back to our car - but after the donuts we needed it!
