I moved to Seattle in December, though I’m originally from Washington I never actually lived in Seattle before. I had a three day weekend and wanted to do something fun but educational. Now that I work in property management and want to get into real estate I thought a city tour would be perfect. It’s still pretty hard to find activities like this that are open right now so I was grateful that they were operating. We actually only had one other person on our tour so three of us total plus our tour guide Ken. We all had such a lovely time getting to know each other, Ken especially took the time to get to know all of us and made us laugh along the way. You can tell he is very knowledgeable not only about Seattle but the state of Washington in general. I felt the route was perfect, we covered all of the main neighborhoods in my opinion, learned so many solid facts mostly about history and some fun pop culture facts sprinkled in. We had two main breaks where we were able to get food, take pictures and walk around which I felt added to the overall experience. Ken stepped out with us sometimes, sharing more facts and answering our questions. At the end of the tour he was nice enough to drop us off at my cross streets instead of back at the hotel we weren’t staying at since I live here and that was the cherry on top of our day.
