Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Excellent tour. The guides were very knowledgeable about whales and knew where to find them. I was able to see a whale breach which happens only about 5% of the time on excursions such as this . Many thanks to a wonderful crew, Capt Jordan, Russell, Lukas and Jessie.

Awesome adventure. Dave knows his whales and bears, he’s really entertaining. Sam is also knowledgeable and funny. Great stories about Hawaii and whales. Captain Jordan found lots of whales, we got a lot of excellent photos & videos. Our drivers had great information about Juneau. This was an excellent day.

My family and I were lucky enough to go on one of Juneau Tours and Whale Watches from Juneau Alaska on July 20th. These folks are true professionals and please don't hesitate to book them in either Juneau or Skagway. From boarding to disembarking, the crew answered questions, provided snacks, and did their very best to position all passengers with views of the whales! If your on any of the cruise lines that come into Juneau, don't hesitate to book this company just because they might not be listed with your cruise company. They will go the extra mile to make sure the trip is a success! Captain Keven asked and received permission to keep our group out longer because the whale show was so spectacular. His expert maneuvering of the boat was appreciated by everyone in the group! The boat was clean, well maintained and provided a comfortable ride to and from the viewing area. Charlie and Dave who were part of the crew provided expert commentary over the excellent sound system on the boat. If you want to get photos like this one, book this company as the whales seem to like them to! We were driven to the site by bus driver Stephanie who is very knowledgeable of the area and was a pleasure to spend time with on her bus. Would do it all over agin in a heartbeat!
