My family came in on a Disney cruise to Juneau for the day and we had Brett as our guide. We were absolutely amazed at how knowledgeable he was about both photography and nature itself. Brett was a marine biology major so it was a spectacular educational experience about glaciers & their history, rain forests, bears, salmon and SO much more! My whole family agreed that we were excited how much we learned in such little time and we got some awesome pictures as well! If you want to learn about photography, he is very happy to teach you. If you just want to learn about nature and enjoy the rain forest, glacier, and whales this is perfect for you as well!

An excellent trip, great pilot found many whales and information was enlightening. Lunch was a bit hit and miss. Glacier a disappointment as you could not get close.

We were on a cruise in July 2019 and decided to book through trip advisor rather than through our cruise ship. It was lovely to come off the boat and avoid the hustle and bustle to find our guide quietly and get on the bus. The bus driver narrated interesting tidbits about Juneau on our way to our whale watching tour. When we got there, we had an amazing experience on the boat, with great guides teaching us about whales and a wonderful captain who navigated the waters to get us as close as legally possible to whales. We saw A TON. Not only that, but we learned about the specific whales, whom the locals had named. Later we took a bus to Mendenhall Glacier. This was a nice and relaxing walk (definitely not a hike- very flat) to the pebbled beach where you see the waterfall and glacier up close. We liked walking at our own pace and spending as much time as we wanted on the beach. There was a bus schedule to take us back to town when we wanted.
