Premier Whale Watch and Mendenhall Glacier Combo

Overview
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

Bought this tour at the booth in front of souvenir shop across the street/pier, much cheaper and exactly the same good tour sold in the cruise. The shuttle drive/guide introduced everything about Juneau very well all the way to the boat harbor. The boat is pretty new and the inside is clean, the naturalist on board also doing a great job and everyone have lots of fun while chasing/watching for Whales. The view on the ocean is gorgeous, and you will be be surprised the Mendenhall Glacier looks so magnificent while offshore and can't wait to visit it! Shuttles are ready right after the Whale watching, also, another driver/guide drove us to the Mendenhall Glacier. Have to remember to visit the Mendenhall Glacier visitor center, Photo Point trail, and Glacier trail to see the stunning Nugget Falls and the close look of the Mendenhall Glacier. This is a must do tour whenever you visit Juneau!

They did a great job of explaining what to look for and then getting us close enough to see whales. Well done! A special shout out to Captain Emily and Dustin, they were great!
