Premier Whale Watch and Mendenhall Glacier Combo

Overview
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

These guys found the whales. The whales were great, doing lots of breaching, flipping etc, but I couldnā€™t see them due to the pushing and blocking. No guidance or control over tourist behavior meant some people saw stuff and some people didnā€™t. Disappointed.

Everything was very well organized. Details for meeting and pick up were 'spot on'. Our tour group was about 20 passengers which made it very pleasant. No one was crawling over anyone to get views. Our 'nature guide 'Russel was very enthusiastic and eagerly shared his knowledge of the whales and their environment. We had about 15 sightings of whale activity along with seas lions and eagles. Excellent pictures opportunities. Our transfer to the Mendenhall Glacier went easy and certainly worth the visit. Excellent tour. I would recommend. One of our booking was sick and the tour company readily refunded 50% 0f the cost of the tour due to her illness. Much appreciated and speaks to the reputation of the tour company.

August 26,2019, was a dismal and rainy day but..........Dan, Danielle and Sam of Juneau Tours & Whale Watch made it fantastic! We saw 6 or 7 whales plus many seals. Also Danielleā€™s knowledge about the habits and history of these marine mammals is to be recommended. Also want to mention that the enthusiasm of the crew plus their endeavour to make our outing a success was terrific.
