Russell was out tour guide, his excitement about his job was infectious. He went beyond to make sure we got to see whales! Answered all of our questions and was extremely helpful. Lance was our captain and he did a great job as well helping us get the most out of our time on the water. I would definetly do this tour again. We got back to our cruise ship in plenty of time.

We saw humpback whales and even some Or as which we were told was pretty read to see... saw some baby humpbacks jumping.. amazing.. The glacier was also amazing.. the driver was brilliant, and although the shuttles bus should have stopped at 6pm .. she collected us at 6.30 as we were late arriving there... it gave us time to really see everything.

Write from the shuttle bus to the water, Papa Bear started making our day a memorable experience. We loved the stories and history of the area he shared. Our captain Jordan and two boat guides, Dave and Russell were awesome. We saw multiple orcas and too many humpbacks to count. To be close enough to hear the whales blow and see the white on the orca as it came up and dove into the water and see humpback after humpback "tail" brought tears to my eyes. And to complete the trip, we say a juvenile humpback, Bunson, breach out of the water and completely clear the water from head to toe before belly flopping back in. It was the perfect way to end the boat portion of our trip. Then on to Mendenhall Glacier. We had plenty of time to walk around and enjoy the area and take some stunning photos. It was an experience we'll never forget.
