Premier Whale Watch and Mendenhall Glacier Combo

Overview
Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

Outstanding experience. From start to finish. Mr. Bill our Bus Guide was amazing and courteous. Our ship crew was great. Shout out to Kailhia (sorry if mispelled) who provided great info. The captain was great on getting us close to the wildlife. Loved the fact that the glacier part was on our own pace with shuttle service back to the port. Trip Well worth it.

Good crew and saw several whales. They seemed to have a lot of experience and tried hard to get us close to the whales.

The crew were really nice. I guess itā€™s hit or miss, but we barely saw even 1 whale tale the whole time. We went end of June. The BAD part and reason 3 star is major congestion exiting the boat to get on one of 3 buses to take you to Mendehall or back to town. We thought ALL 3 buses went to Mendenhall. Little did we know there were other buses that took you back to town, not Mendenhall. So we got on the wrong bus- the one back to town. Then it was too late to take us back to Mendenhall. The Bus driver was a really nice man and mentioned he said bus was going to town. But, there were tons of people there! There should have been signs indicating which bus goes where, better organizationā€¦Such as- How about showing your ticket to the driver to make sure youā€™re on the right bus? We so wanted to go to Mendenhall. They did refund us this part of the trip. I do hope in posting this, the tour gets better organized.
