The Amish Farm and House
Sit back, relax and let us take you through the real Amish country backroads. Your driver-guide will drive 25 miles into countryside not easily found on our own. From the window, youā€™ll see Amish homes, schools and farms. Depending on the season you might see Amish working in their fields, children riding on scooters and horse & buggies traveling to and from. Your driver-guide will be narrating as you see the Amish going about their everyday life. Youā€™ll learn about agriculture, farming techniques, weddings, family traditions and how they live in our ā€˜modern worldā€™. Itā€™s not just all on the bus; we make two stops at Amish farms where youā€™ll get to interact with the Amish folks. Youā€™ll have the opportunity to purchase goods made from the very hands who made them! (not on Sundays)

We had bus #1 with Anne, she took as along the Amish' local areas gave us a lot of interesting facts and info abut their daily, routine life and some history too. We stopped at few places and stands and beautiful hand made quilt's store šŸ˜-its an artwork! Each quilt is handcrafted within about 600 hours of work!!! Unbelievable. After bus ride we had a tour of an Amish house, also very informative and self guided tour of the farm where the school is, we got lost in corn maze, visited all farm animals and had fun riding "their" scooters šŸ˜„šŸ˜„šŸ˜„

Really nice experience, you get a lot of info about the Amish, I really recommend the premium that way you get a lot of questions answered, the bus tour was good but can be better, the tour guy was a really nice person and have good knowledge about the area, but the mic was having problems and some parts of the guide was just missing, the stops... I thought was going going to he something different... they stop by some Amish houses/stores, the good think was all three stops were different so you can see different types of Amish living, they are so friendly thatā€™s is something that just surprise me the kids learn to be productive in the house I like that but is a little weird to see then like count of working... the farmhouse is where you get all the Amish living and dressing knowledge, the farm was fun but I was a little unlucky with the weather, silly rainy day, so the animals were a little hideaway but they have some interesting animals, kids for sure will have fun in the farm... corn maze is also fun and good for some nice pics... I recommend this tour for sure the premium is the best deal if you have the time (3 hours) and want to have a lot info. Cons: bus tour sometimes seems to be a shopping tour, the tour guides are really friendly and are very knowledgeable but they are senior citizens (with all respect), for some young people can be bored.

Thank you for your review and we are glad that you chose our Premium Package. It really is the most complete visit. Our tour guides are certainly all experienced and trained but not all of them are senior citizens. We have guides of all ages and language skills. We have tour guides who speak Spanish, French, and Mandarin. Please come back and visit us again soon!

My sister and I did the premium package tour and had an excellent time this past weekend. The entire staff was friendly and we loved our bus tour guide Dale. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He has been doing tours on and off for 52 years and you can tell he loves his job. We had Jamie for the house tour and she took time to answer everyone's questions. The farm was beautiful and there were so many pets to admire. I highly recommend this tour to everyone !!!

Thank you for recommending us! We highly appreciate that. It sounds like you had a great time doing the Premium Package with our guides, Dale and Jamie. Dale does really love his job and he is great at it too! The farm animals are usually everyone's favorite. We are happy you spent some time with them too.
