Arrived san Francisco tried to ring contact number given in confirmation document after eventually getting through was advised that this company no longer did pick ups for viator and advised I rang an alternate number which I did and eventually arranged a pick up after a wait of about 30 mine
Transfer was then swift and friendly, but overall a disappointment after a long journey
Flight landed at 2.35 which we made clear to Carmel. It took us an hour and a half to get through Customs in San Francisco which we did not think was abnormal. As instructed on the voucher we then called Carmel when we had collected our luggage at 4.10. After 10 minutes trying two numbers, being cut off and getting through automated system, we finally got to speak to someone around 4.20 only to be told the Car had been released and was no longer available unless we booked and paid again. Had to get into a normal taxi at the airport. Left us stessed and 60 poorer at the start of our holiday. We often pre-book and prepay for taxi transfers and have not had this problem with any other supplier. I appreciate taxi cannot wait forever but we followed all the instructions on the voucher and did not think hour and half to clear customs after flight landed which we assume the company monitors was out of ordinary. Very disappointed and will not use Carmel again.
Easy to answer this. The car did not arrive we had to take a cab. Would clearly not use them again !!!!!!
