Your picnic guru will pick your group up in her SUV and drive you up the dirt forest road into one of the most scenic locations in Big Bear Lake. Your guide will hang out with your group and enthrall you with tales of the history of the Big Bear Valley & then leave you your privacy as you enjoy a casual lunch in nature at one of the most scenic hidden gems in Big Bear. The forest tour is very scenic and your guide can stop anywhere along the way if you wish to get out and take photos. Your picnic guru specializes in vegan & gluten-free options. Inquire for seasonal menus. We also offer gourmet curried chicken salads, GF homemade muffins/cookies, vegan salad with coconut dressing, & the best beet salad you will find on the mtn for an additional cost.

Big Bear Lake

Your Big Bear Lake pop-up picnic Guro will deliver your group to a scenic picnic spot, usually with a lake view. This is where you can relax & have a light lunch in nature. This is a perfect location for all those Insta worthy photos. Our Big Bear Lake picnic pros will take as many scenic photos of your group as you would like. Your guide will hang out with your group and enthrall you with tales of the history of the Big Bear Valley & then leave you your privacy as you enjoy a casual lunch in nature at one of the most scenic hidden gems in Big Bear. Menu items are seasonal and a menu will be provided when you book with choices. A sample snack picnic lunch may include; Assorted nuts, veggies with baba Gnaoush, assorted cheeses with salami + sweets. Vegan & gluten-free choices are available on request. I do my very best to work with my guest's food allergy needs. I do offer a larger menu at an additional price with entrees like unique salads or homemade muffins.

You have to order the vegan salad with garbanzo beans and walnuts! I'm not even a vegan and this was the best meal I had while in Big Bear! I booked this just for myself and was so happy she could accommodate just one person. I even had enough leftovers to take back for dinner that evening. (I did pay extra for two of her add on salads the vegan one and the delicious curried chicken) Sitting on the back of the boat and relaxing with a book and having a leisurely lunch in the bay was so relaxing. Amber even pointed out Big Bear hawks overhead. I didn't get in the water but I did put my feet in and overall it was just such a chill way to spend an afternoon in the mountains.

What a awesome way to spend a day in Big Bear! The host even offered to let us have the picnic on the back of her boat ( ask her about this option in the summertime months) We were even able to get in the water and swim and it was so relaxing after the delicious picnic lunch. We paid extra for her two homemade add-on salads, the mango curried chicken salad and her amazing beet salad with goat cheese. The salads were so good. It was totally worth the extra money. This was the best restaurant experience we had the whole time we were in Big Bear Lake.

I booked this for my wife and myself for our anniversary. What a great couple's experience. We had a hard time finding wholesome restaurants that coincide with our healthy lifestyle in Big Bear. We were thrilled to find basically a personal cook to make us a healthy lunch. And bonus! It was such a hot day, that she let us do the experience on her boat in the harbor and we even went for a swim afterward. This was such a relaxing way to start our weekend trip. We want to come back and book this again in August when it's so hot in the valley.
