If you do this tour, you absolutely have to request harry as your guide. This dude was so on his craft on the knowledge of the geology, hiking, history, surrounding restaurants. My experience would have been a shadow of what it was without this man's insight throughout the day my group had. Thank you Harry my friend. Will be coming back ASAP.

Our team of nine had a blast on the trail with Jake. I’m sure all the guides are good, but that cowboy is one helluva guide!

The Colorado Plateau Ascent description does not read like it will be anything but a lovely ride with picturesque views. Be aware that the trip up the old wagon trail will bounce the fillings from your teeth. Our driver, Sundance, was telling us about all sorts of geological and natural phenomena while we could see none of it due to (A) the cover on the hummer, and (B) his aggressive driving. Nothing picturesque about a trip where it's impossible to see the features or focus a camera on them. We told Sundance to turn around. Once back at the bottom of the trail, he was gracious to take us to a lovely location on the other side of Sedona, but I suppose we did not have the time to linger as we did not stop there. The second star is for this attempt. I gave Sundance a healthy tip for returning us from this crazy trip. What a missed opportunity it was. It ranks as the least enjoyable thing I've ever paid to do.
