We spent 6 hours with Sheldon and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire 4 days in NYC! Sheldon is full of history and stories and gives you a wonderful tour of the city. We visited Harlem, Midtown, the Highline, Wall street, and Greenwich. He even helped us with our first subway ride! An amazing day! We will definitely do another day tour with Sheldon on our next visit to NY! Thank You Sheldon!

If you are looking to book a private tour of New York City, look no further than Sheldon Lapidus! I have been on many tours throughout my lifetime, group and private, but the tour provided by Sheldon Lapidus far exceeds any that I have taken. He is humorous, extremely knowledgeable, punctual, informative, conscientious about time and gives you the best bang for you buck! If you want an in-depth history lesson of this fabulous city, he's your man! My husband and I learned so many true facts that are excluded from history books and curriculum. Sheldon's personal knowledge of the 9/11 Memorial and its surroundings is very heartfelt. We are in our mid sixties and we couldn't get enough of Sheldon. We listened intently to every word he spoke as to not miss out on any information. When my husband and I arrived in NYC, we had some reservations about navigating our way around, but after a few days and especially after taking Sheldon's tour, both of us wished we had had more time to spend with him. My husband an I will return and will definitely book another tour with Sheldon Lapidus. Please remember his name, SHELDON LAPIDUS; synonymous with excellence! P.S. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and don't be afraid of the subway system! Yes, Sheldon teaches that too!!

Every other year I get the pleasure of taking a group of high school juniors and seniors to NYC (our theater kids) and in 2016 I booked with a different company but they hooked us up with Sheldon as out guide for our tour. He was awesome! Took us everywhere that was on our list and then some during our private group tour. He handed me his business card that day and I've held on to it. He was my first choice for this year's trip and I'm happy to say that we've booked with him again. Sheldon is a native New Yorker and knows what he's talking about. His personal stories and knowledge are both informative and entertaining. He's great about communicating and even texted me shortly before his arrival so we knew when he would arrive and could be ready to go. So we didn't waste a minute of our time. He goes at a great pace so you get to see a lot but don't feel overwhelmed or worn out either. You can't go wrong with this tour!
