Emzy was our guide and as there was just two of us he could tailor the tour information to meet our interest areas. We had already visited the Alamo and been on a bus tour of San Antonio so we had a reasonable level of knowledge of the history of San Antonio and Texas. Emzy demonstrated that he is extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Antonio and gave us some really interesting perspectives (backed up by historical photos and articles) that added to our understanding and experiences. We would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get a deeper and richer perspective of the 300+ year history of San Antonio and its impact on both Texas and USA history.

This was an amazing tour with an amazing guide! We were the only two on the tour and it was far from the typical guided tour. MZ was very personable, knowledgeable on all aspects of history, and was well-known and liked throughout the San Antonio community. He utilized technology throughout the tour to show relevant images, videos, and proof of all the history being told. He was very interactive and fun and we loved spending time getting to know him and the city. The bars he took us to were also incredible- the atmosphere and the bartenders were awesome people. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about San Antonio.

Emzy combines an engaging personality, passion for San Antonio history, and knowledge of excellent bars and restaurants to deliver a one-of-a-kind tour experience! It was our first event, on our first day, of our first visit to San Antonio and it set a high bar for the rest of our Thanksgiving weekend. We highly recommend the tour!
