Jeff took my 16 year old son and me on a terrific bike tour of DC. Great biking, very knowledgable, a lot of fun, and he insisted on making sure the experience was tailored to exactly what we wanted. Very fun and memorable.

We went on a tour with the DC Cycling Concierge this morning and had a great time! My husband, 11 year old daughter and I learned so much. I grew up in DC but have not lived here in years so seeing things like the World War 2 memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, and other recent additions to the greater Mall region was a special treat. For me though, the absolute highlight was cycling to the fish market, the oldest in the nation! For my kid, the highlight was the Lincoln Memorial that she’d really wanted to see in person after learning about it in the movies. Jeff had taken the time to understand what my family was interested in then catered a tour to us perfectly. He met us at my sister’s apartment in Southwest with the bikes loaded on a bike trailer that he peddled over for an early start that matched our travel needs perfectly and was so easy! He just locked the trailer to a fence post, handed out helmets, and pulled out a map to orient us to the city, then away we went. My kid had not had lots of city biking experience but she did great and especially loved things like sliding down the secret DC memorial slide (you will have to go with Jeff to learn where that is), and taking photos of crushing the Washington Monument with her finger. He zeroed in on my husband’s interest in science and off we went to see the Albert Einstein monument by National Science Foundation headquarters. My husband and I are also in the tourism business and we both agree, this is a top notch experience. Jeff is professional, fun, safe, and unbelievably informative. Such a great morning. Thanks Jeff!

Natalie - I'm so psyched you and your family had so much fun and I'm beyond flattered given your expertise in hospitality. I regularly have guests with little or no experience riding in traffic and it is why I always work to design the best route to make it safe and fun for everyone. Thanks again for your kind review!

If you are wondering if you should spend the money on this tour my answer is: YES! It is indeed money well spent. You will be very well taken care of and you will see so many things in a short time. We visited DC back in October and this tour was the absolute highlight of our time there. We were a group of four (two adults and two 8 year olds) and Jeff was great with all of us! We wanted "tag along" bikes for our kids and Jeff took care of getting us the bikes. He even had snacks and water for us. Jeff put our son on the tag along behind his bike and my husband had our daughter behind his and I (Mom) got to ride alone in peace and quiet (haha). Jeff didn't miss anything or skimp out on any sights. We saw all the major sights plus things that were of particular interest to us. Out of the blue, towards the end of the trip, my son asked about seeing the Albert Einstein memorial that he had learned about from watching the "Who Was" show on TV. Without hesitation, Jeff took us there and impressed the heck out of all of us that he even knew about it. This tour was worth every penny and if we are ever in DC again we will be sure to repeat it. Thanks for an AWESOME day, Jeff!
