Private Hike to Jungle Tide Pools

Overview
This tide pool is a local secret. It's off the beaten path. A miracle of nature. We'll use a jungle/lava rock coastal trail. Each way takes 30-40 min (1/2 mile) (10 minutes in jungle, 20-30 minutes on coast). Only your group will participate. I'll teach you about the pool's ecosystem and the local environment. You'll also have time to explore/relax privately.

- Elevation gain on the hike offers amazing coastal views. Sea turtles are a common sight in the distance.
- The pool is like an infinity pool overlooking cliffs. The water is crystal clear. It's highly likely you'll be alone because this spot is so unknown.
- The pool is like an an aquarium with fish, hermit crabs, rock crabs, sea cucumbers, shrimp, snails, spaghetti worms, pink coralline algae, seaweed, shells, & cool rocks.
- Waves strike cliffs and shoot water in the air like a blowhole (conditions permitting). A once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity.
- The pool is calm/safe with a deep (4-7 ft.) & shallow (1-4 ft.) area.

Be sure to wear secure shoes that can get wet (like Tevas or Keens) and wear your swimsuit. Itā€™s more fun that way! The trip to the tide pools with Josh was magical. We could have never found that location without his help! I loved that no one was there other than our group. So private! Josh was the perfect guide. Willing to go with whatever the vibe of the group was. We were super interested in all the creatures in the tidal pools and he let us spend as much time looking at them and swimming as we wanted. He was careful to point out all the most interesting sea creatures. I loved getting to climb on the rocks and explore all around. We really appreciated the side adventure to the local fruit farm. The fruit we tried there was so unusual. Mostly fruits Iā€™ve never ever heard of. We highly recommend this trip!!!

All round great experience. The hike felt like something out of a movie and the pools were like nothing I had seen before. Josh is quite knowledgeable about the area and pleasant to talk to.

Josh is a nice young laid back guy. The tide pool was very cool. Be sure to go to the far end and have the waves break over your head. Super fun. This is a place you could not find on your own. Be sure to go to the fruit farm afterwards. Josh knows his fruits. We had a great day with Josh, thanks.
