I can't tell you enough how much we were looking forward to this tour. It was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, after booking and paying for the tour and receiving a confirmation of our booking I emailed the operator to let them know where we would like to be picked up and that one member of our group used a wheelchair because she can't walk long distances (my mom). In response, the operator indicated that just moments prior to our booking, the tour (which is private and runs once a day at 10am) was booked by someone else. They offered the tour to us at a later time - 11:30am the same day. Unfortunately, that new time didn't work for us. I asked the operator several times to contact the other group that had just booked before us to see if they would prefer the later 11:30am time so we could go as booked at 10am. They refused to do this! Couldn't seem to understand the request. Several emails went back and forth - it was so frustrating to me that they wouldn't even try to contact them. The operator mentioned the wheelchair in their reply twice - which really had nothing to do with my request. To me, it felt like they didn't want to be bothered dealing with it. I wish it had worked out for us. If any one else has another option with an operator who can offer better customer service and isn't bothered by a wheelchiar - please let me know!

We're so sorry you were not in the limited number of travelers we take out everyday but as you mentioned yourself we would not ask other travelers to change their plans for someone else even if that was the case. We offered to have a guide doing another tour give you a tour as well but none of the options offered were good enough for you and our agents tried persistently to accommodate you however your continuous demand was TO MAKE ANOTHER TRAVELER CHANGE THEIR PLANS. One of many services we do here is medical transport for the Texas Medical Center so 1 wheelchair would surely not be an inconvenience for us as our TOUR VANS actually have rear storage to accommodate WHEELCHAIRS & LUGGAGE. You requested special vehicles such as our luxury sedans which are not used for tours and can only accommodate 3 passengers but you insisted we overload a vehicle with 4 people which we cannot do. Our tours are done in tour vans not Cadillacs. Our agents offered you alternative dates but again you insisted that other travelers plans be changed yet you never consided changing time of the dinner you wanted to attend after the tour which eventually lead to REJECTION OF YOUR BOOKING. We are a transportation and limousine service but unfortunately not all chauffeurs are Tourism Ambassadors which are used for the sightseeing tours we offer to visitors and residents since 2008. Once again we're sorry you did not get to take a tour with us but for future reference we recommend early booking as many reserve these limited tours MONTHS in advance and also try not demanding that our agents change the travel plans of other travelers who you do not know to accommodate your own plans because it is not fair to them. Despite your inaccurate wheelchair comments we still hope you have a wonderful stay in Houston and are able to find a company who will change travel plans of other guest to accommodate your post tour plans. Thank you for considering us and thank you for visiting Houston!

Our recent experience with Allstar Transportation Tours in Houston, TX, was impressive. We are seasoned leisurely travelers and any time we are exploring a new city we prefer booking a private tour as we did when we visited Houston. This ensures we not only learn about the past and present of a particular city but also glean informative information from the driver that a visitor might not otherwise learn. We scheduled a private 4-hour tour for us only and found the accommodations first class all the way. The cost was very reasonable. We were greeted at our hotel on-time by the driver. To our delight he was driving a new Lincoln Navigator. Our first impression was “wow.” They also provided complimentary water and snacks, which we appreciated. The driver, Gregg, was professional, personable and very informative about the city, landmarks, people, culture, and other details. It was a solid 4-hours of touring, punctuated by a stop for pastry and coffee at the Bouchee Patisserie located in the elegant Post Oak Hotel in Uptown Houston. Both the patisserie and hotel are impressive, and the patisserie is reasonably priced for incredibly tasty pastry. Gregg returned us to our hotel on-time at completion of the tour. When I first contacted Allstar Transportation Tours to arrange our tour, I noted their corporate goals of “pride, professionalism, respect and customer service.” We can attest they practice what they preach. We would recommend Allstar Transportation Tours for any transportation services in and around Houston, TX.

I have been meaning to write this review since visiting in March, We had such a fab time I feel it would be a dis-service to Gregg not to . We were collected on time by Gregg in an air conditioned car where he had kindly provided snacks and water. Having never even been to the States before we had no idea about what we should be seeing and what not. Fear not Gregg covered all bases. Absolutely fascinating insight into this great city - all the locations he chose to take us to were spot on and he is so informative and entertaining. He was happy to stop if we wanted a closer look at something and nothing seemed to much trouble. I won't give any spoilers to where you go but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services, we even went with him to NASA two days later, now I definitely wouldn't book there with anyone else -going with Gregg gets you VIP access
