I came to Houston thinking I knew a little about the city. After half a day with our guide, Greg, I discovered that I knew far less than I thought, and gained a much greater appreciation for the city and its history. I had only a couple of days to spend in Houston and after this tour, I wished that I had way more than that so that I could return to many of the places we visited briefly and enjoy them more fully. If, like me, you have limited time to see the city and would really like to learn and see a lot, I highly recommend this tour. The tour was predominantly done in a comfortable limo, and the walking was limited, so if you or your partner have mobility limitations (my wife walks with a cane), this tour will work well for you.

We were picked up on time from our hotel. Our guide was Greg and he was extremely polite, knowledgeable and informative and we toured all round downtown Houston and learned so much about the history and places of interest. From there we travelled down to the port on the Houston River to visit the impressive USS Texas. Greg took us all over the ship about which he had a great deal of information as well. Then a short trip across to the huge tower and museum in the San Jacinda State Park. We went up in the elevator to the top and had magnificent views of the port and surrounding areas. Highly recommend this trip for a very relaxing and interesting day.

In four hours we were able to see all the major places/buildings in Houston. Much easier to have our hands free and be able to look than to have to deal with traffic and try to follow directions!
