This is the ONLY option you should choose when whale watching in Juneau! We were picked up in a luxury van, at our ship, and every step was top notch! Our driver, Carter, was so knowledgeable & personable. He even included a stop to see Mendenhall Glacier on our way to the yacht. We were greeted by Lisa, our naturalist, and taken to the yacht to start the actual cruise. Captain Taylor gave us a proper safety briefing, and we set off. Between Taylor & Lisa, we felt so welcome, and right at home onboard. Alaska Luxury Tours provided binoculars, blankets, fresh fruit, fresh pastries, drinks (alcoholic & non) & information that was enhanced by the one-on-one interactions. With only 7 passengers, we had full access to attentive crew so we could ask about Alaska, the yacht & the wildlife. Captain Taylor was on point for a smooth sailing experience, but also found us the most amazing sights…orcas, humpbacks, bubble feeding & eagles! Yes!!!! All that in one tour! Lisa shared fantastic information with us, and truly shared our excitement of everything we saw. This is a tour we will remember for a lifetime! Thank you Alaska Luxury Tours!

On a Celebrity Cruise and signed up for the Luxury Whale Watch. Picked up in a new Mercedes Motor Coach and transported to a beautiful yacht. Sergio the captain and Shannon the naturalist met us, gave us a textbook safety briefing. On board you had choice of beer,wine, champagne, water,soda etc and nice charcuterie. 5 of us onboard so very comfortable. 3 hours sped by. Saw numerous whales and a family of seals. Shannon, a whale nerd, entertained us with facts on whales. She worked in Maui with whale tours for years and pursued the whales to Alaska and stayed. Cannot recommend this company enough. Passion for their work!

This was the best tour we took while on our Alaskan Cruise. We did our tour on May 29, 2023--the afternoon tour. Our captain and naturalist were excellent. We had sightings throughout the whole trip. The price is so worth it. You are not fighting 100 other people to see the whales. There was room for everyone to be outside and see all the excitement. Would do this tour again, without hesitation!
