What To Expect

Halona Blowhole

The drive along southeast O'ahu is stunning. The rocky cliffs that lead to the crashing waves below are sight to see. Halona blowhole is a great stop. Along with the famous blowhole you will also enjoy, eternity beach (famous filming location), views of some other Hawaiian islands and if you are lucky whales (only in the winter months).

Makapu'u Point

This is a beautiful photo op with sweeping views of the mountains down to the sea. Rabbit island sits just offshore and makes for a lovely backdrop.

Kahuku Farms

Enjoy fresh local shrimp at Fumi's. This shack is located just in front of the ponds where the shrimp are harvested from.

Ehukai Beach Park

Enjoy the world famous surf break pipeline. This stunning beach is home to numerous surf competitions (winter months only).

Haleiwa

Hale'iwa is located on Oahu's iconic north shore. This little surf town is full of cute little shops and restaurants. We usually end the tour here with some delicious shave ice from Aoki's.

Kualoa Regional Park

Welcome to Jurassic Park (seriously this stop is right across from the valley where they filmed much of the movie). This is an amazing photo stop with incredible mountain views as well as the iconic offshore island Chinaman's hat.

Fantastic tour. Thank-You the real hawai'i It was awesome and Dan was really informative. We went all around the island, went to some great lookouts, popular attractions and even had a shave ice to finish the day. Dan ensured that our shrimp for lunch was sourced from the freshest supplier on Oahu. And we broke the record for his largest tour group yet!

Our second visit to Honolulu. Great personalized service from Real Hawaii.Their rep Dan took us to places that we had not seen on our last large group tour. He tailored our tour to meet our needs and also provided suggestions to improve the overall experience using his amazing local knowledge. A highly professional and customer focused outfit - we will use them again when we next return to Hawaii to explore the Big Island

We had an amazing experience with The Real Hawaii. We booked in two consecutive days and were taken to some places that your usual bigger tour buses just cannot get to. Day one was spent seeing some of the sights around Honolulu that we'd not seen on our previous trip, revisiting some places like the Tropical Farms Mac Nuts to stock up and going to some off the beaten track hidden gems. We had a fantastic day around the south-east area of Ahau. Day two we headed for the North Shore and again were treated to a superb day out. Saw some things that again those bigger buses just cannot get to or simply just drive by (and where you might just be lucky enough to get a good view over someone else head on the bus). Not with The Real Hawaii, they will stop wherever you want! Our guide for both days was Dan, he arrived promptly, was knowledgeable, allowed us to do things at our own pace and took us to some beautiful places to se and some great places to eat. Dan was also happy to take photos of our group, we got some amazing photos as well! If you are looking for a more personalised tour, this is the tour to take. A big thank you to The Real Hawaii for showing us 'the real Hawaii'!
