Overview

Learn how to stand up paddle with a Waikiki Beachboy in the birthplace of surfing! We are located in the heart of Waikiki, just steps away from the water's edge.

A one-on-one private lesson is the best way to maximize your time on the water. Children 13 and younger must take a private lesson for safety reasons.

Make sure to ask about the photo services (with additional charge) to capture the moment.

I’ve enjoyed the lesson very much! Coach Matt was wonderful. He was supportive and encouraging. If you are interested in taking the lesson, book early, at least one week in advance. The lessons are gone pretty quickly, especially weekends!

I did a private stand up paddle board lesson and outrigger canoe ride with Waikiki Beach Services. The staff was fun and friendly and the service was excellent. Even though I had never done SUP before, Matt's excellent instruction had me standing up on the board and paddling after the 2nd try. Each subsequent try found me able to stay up on the board longer, and it was great to have the photographer in the water with us getting great shots and videos of my attempts. The outrigger canoe ride was fun, but you will need to pay for the other seats if you don't have four people in your canoe. I knew this going in and was fine with paying extra. We caught two waves and went so fast one wave that I couldn't paddle fast enough. What a rush! Thanks for a great morning of fun at the beach!!
