I went diving together with my 10 year old daughter. She completed intro lesson in swimming pool and wanted to try open water diving. Karim was professional and convinced me that she went very well, and got ready for diving into the ocean. I’m glad that I listened to him. That was one of her best experiences ever. She enjoyed watching different sea creatures, diving among colorful fishes and beautiful coral reefs. I was so happy when I heard her say “Shall we do it again?” During that dive, Karim was helping my daughter to keep stability and right body posture. He was so patient and helping everyone stay calm under water. I really recommend diving with Karim.

This was my first experience scuba diving. I've done a lot of snorkeling, but had always wanted to try scuba. I read and filled out all the forms and then headed to the pool. Karim was very professional and gave me a lesson in the pool so I could get used to the regulator. Then we practiced the hand signals in the pool, so I would know what he was communicating when we went into the open water. He took me to "Airport Beach" or Kahekili Beach Park in Kaanapali and we went into the open water. It was amazing! We swam down about 15 feet and saw turtles and lots of beautiful fish. It was very calm and peaceful. I would highly recommend trying scuba with Karim. He's taught people to scuba dive all over the world: Egypt, Caribbean and Indonesia. Have Fun! :-)

Did my first ever scuba with Karim in Maui, HI. I got reference from a friend, hence called karim he was quick to respond and offered lesson+ ocean dive same day. Whole experience began with a training session in a pool, he explained all process, basics/ signals, do’s n dont’s very well to both me and my wife. No rush or push, and Karim was kind, calm to listen to all our questions ( and disturbances by our little kids). During pool training I got to familiarize with actual oxygen tank with all gear he provided. Karim went over all steps and allowed me time to settle down. He was frank enough to let my wife know that she is not ready yet and must practice snorkelling for couple of days before her first dive. In ocean i went for dive where Karim got all the gear and O2 tank. He explained all steps and instructions on the shore first then we geared up, entered water and enjoyed wonderful world below the water… It was amzing experience for me. Throughout the 45 min dive I never felt unsafe/unsecure or panic. I must say credit goes to Karim. He helped to calm nerves, provides time for you to prepare. I found it very important to have a cool instructor in scuba, that’s the key. I definitely recommend this scuba instructor, also looking forward for another dive with him along with my wife. 👍🏻
