What To Expect

Airport Mesa

Site see, learn, and witness our geological masterpiece known as the Mogollon Rim. We get an exceptional view from this point, as this is where we will explain the geological make up of the area and its crystal connection and influence to the vortex phenomenon.

Capitol Butte

Otherwise known as Thunder Mountain! Powerful vortex site that attracts lighting more often than other peaks in the area.

Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park

A Buddhist park with a special designated shrine to Amitahba, the Buddha of Light. Here we go deep into the linked connection of Buddhism and the Native American shamanism, namely the Hopi religion and way of life. Doing this, we widen our experience with the land, and in turn begin to experience Sedona through new eyes.

My group of four returned from our visit to Sedona last week and continue to sing the praises of Conner and our time spent together on our Vortex tour. Before visiting Sedona, I did research and tried to find a tour company that was local and had a good vibe as far is being run by people that I would enjoy touring with. I was very happy to have Conner take us on our Vortex tour. Conner is a great guy and he was happy to share his knowledge of the area and his love of Sedona. I really liked how he explained the power of the Vortexes by sharing information about the scientific phenomenon and geology of the area, the spiritual beliefs of the Hopi people and the religious experiences that many of us share around the world. We visited Vortex sites and I especially enjoyed our visit to Peace park where we had a chance to reflect and meditate a bit at a Buddha stupa and medicine wheel for people of all faiths. It was a powerful experience. We planned this tour just before sunset so Connor used his expertise to take us to the most beautiful sunset spot that we will ever experience, with Cathedral rock in the background. I highly recommend this tour and any tour with Connor will be one that is enjoyed by all. Conner is just a good guy, who is good with people and passionate about sharing his love of Sedona with you. He is also an experienced hiker so willing to share the story of his hikes or lead you on a hike if that is something you are interested in. On this tour as well as on our other 2 tours with Dynamic Journey tours, we overlapped with other tour groups. In my head I told myself how happy I was that we were with Dynamic Tours. From what I overheard on the other tours, I felt that we were receiving a more personal and genuine experience than the other tours were offering. I’m sure many of the other guides are excellent, but most of the other groups that I encountered were ones that I was happy I was not on. Conner and Chad from Dynamic Journey tours will help you get the most out of your tour or help you find another tour group that meets your needs.

This tour was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our trip! Chad was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area, geology, indigenous culture and so much more. Because this was a private tour, Chad tailored our experience to my husband and me, which made it so personal and memorable. Major bonus: we also had the pleasure of spending the tour with Chad's puppy Juniper, which was an absolute joy! We LOVED this tour and would absolutely do it again and plan on staying in touch with Chad and Juniper the Adventure Dog!

The guides were very knowledgeable and relatable. Myself and Husband really enjoyed the one on one experience. Took us to some of the not so crowded places only experienced guides would do. We got out of the tour exactly what we had hoped and would recommend them anytime !!
