2
Capitol Butte
Otherwise known as Thunder Mountain! Powerful vortex site that attracts lighting more often than other peaks in the area.

This was an excellent tour. Chad was our guide and he provided us with an amazing tour. His wealth of knowledge and obvious passion for Sedona is beyond compare. He was eager to answer all our questions plus. The history of the vortex and the sites we visited were fantastic. To sum this experience, absolutely take this tour. And if you are lucky enough to have Chad as your guide you will not be disappointed. If I could give it more than a 5 star rating, I’d double that. Educational, beautiful, and to add another point, absolutely a fun tour. Thanks, Chad. You made this nothing short of spectacular!!

So the morning we woke up for this tour it was misting outside. My friend and I had a raincoat so we were good to go. Chad was kind enough to offer to reschedule the tour because of the rain or happily continue. We opted to continue and I'm so glad we did. Chad was very knowledgeable about the general area as well as the vortexes. He kept us entertained, offered plenty of time for questions and very thorough explanations when we had questions. I have to confess going up to Rachel's knoll was my favorite because it snowed. When we first got there it was lightly snowing but by the time we left it was snowing pretty heavily we felt very lucky to have been able to get up there before it got bad. I didn't think I absorbed any energy from the vortex up there but I did feel happy and carefree while we were there. The next day however I was full of energy and could not sleep the next night I wasn't tired at all it was weird and cool at the same time. I highly recommend this tour. Our tour was extremely personalized it was just the two of us and Chad. He was also very knowledgeable about the plants in the area which was definitely an added bonus for me personally.

Thank you so much Denise! It was a great pleasure touring with you both and Im so glad you ladys were so adventurous....just like you had been in Iceland! You have helped inspired me to go there. Like I always say, I teach, but I also learn something new on every tour as well. I love it! Thanks again!

The tour and experience was fantastic. Chad is an authentic storyteller based on history, local lore, science and personal experience. We received an upper level class in Anthropology, History, Geology, and Cultural Studies. Would highly recommend this tour for any seekers looking for answers. This tour will be the one thing you will always remember long after you leave Sedona.
